January 19th, 2010 at 11:02 pm eTruly divided, amidst countries,
    throughout languages, the subject’s genuine
    performative Act sits in between.

January 20th, 2010 at 1:35 am eSymbols envelope the life of man to a point that they join together those who are going to engender him “by bone and flesh” before he comes into the world. To a point, says Lacan, that along with the gifs of the stars and the gifs of the fairies, they bring the shape of his destiny…

January 26th, 2010 at 3:28 pm eReally symbolically, the dreaming Alphonse is right. Puke is puke, sweeter to us if it belongs to fairies than if copiously sputtered by Balkan trolls–or worse–red Maghrebin rabbis–ou pire–the indigenous morlocks whose clumsy fairy-mimicry is always ich-ier still!

I can’t tell if there is a revolution going on: paraphrasing prophecy from the Vincennes steps, who is watching who do what?

January 31st, 2010 at 10:26 am eI am not god. I am the last who would redeem you with the word.

    Waves of fir
    cascade the abode of being.
    And I am becalmed.

Something more inclusive than humanism is needed for us suffering beasts.

  6. Mira Says:
March 20th, 2010 at 11:16 pm eWill there be any presenters who are analysands (or former analysands) but are not analysts?
  7. alice Says:
March 21st, 2010 at 12:04 am eYes Mira, analysands who are not analysts will be presenting their “First Session” story
  8. Shariar Vaghfipour Says:
July 18th, 2010 at 10:32 pm eNow, psychoanalysis comes to be a bizzare religion because its God is not all but is not-all. Its constructive elements are objectical voice, object’s gaze, destituted subject and a general truth. In this materialist religion, the ontoligical shock is a non-bodied or un-imbodied voice that comes from a distance but at once, comes frome inside, an ex-timate call. Now what is an alysand? It is something what can not ceased something else of being written, and this bizarre something has a gaze or voice structure. Analysis is somehow a krygma about an event to let analysand to be a name that be written by a subject that has been exprienced this letting-to-be-written preceding and processing.

July 19th, 2010 at 12:16 am eAnd about the couch. what couch? It means to locate. to locate in what? subjectivization? histerization? both of them. to locate in analyst discours? yes. and locate in essential, i.e. to exist, to ex-ist, to exclude. exclude from psychotic (m)Other. and more about the couch? it means “day bed”. but to bed with whom or what? the proper answer is to “hole”, to “void”. It meand couch is an invitation to couch that there is no sexual relation in the couch. We fall on the couch as Adam fall on earth from the grace, from the paradise. So when we fall on the couch we assert that it is a schysm between signifier and signified, that in session, we are practicing fall from pre-Odipal paradise.

July 19th, 2010 at 5:51 am eHello Shariar Vaghfipour, maybe because God/the Other is not -all psychoanalysis is not a religion… and this is how this God – that is not all – can be trascended. Have to wonder about the voice being that loud… what is an analysand? isn’t it the one going through the experience?
  11. violet Says:
July 22nd, 2010 at 6:39 am eyou like the word Shariar… 6 times couch is a lot of couch
for the not to be sexual relation…
  12. Shariar Vaghfipour Says:
July 24th, 2010 at 8:15 pm eCouch is a word that may be translate in German stell; so it may be a guiding word to journey through the ontology or onto-couch-logy against the background of specular structure of subject (Advance Oxford dictionary: Coutch: (v.) express, utter, set fourth, frame; (n.) settee, settle, ottoman, day bed).
analysand is one of three terms that are setting forth the exprience. It is somehow a would-be talking machine, because at first, it does not accept its extriority.
  13. violet Says:
July 30th, 2010 at 7:57 am eIf stell is “place” the couch could be entailing an Other, much as an Other is a place, external to you of course, where you will arouse — as the subject, right?
And by the way ……..are you Shariar Vaghfipour who translated Italo Calvino’s “The Argentine Ant”?
  14. shahriar Says:
August 2nd, 2010 at 8:31 pm eYes You right. I am a translator too.
  15. violet Says:
August 10th, 2010 at 4:59 am ewhat is a “translator too”?
  16. Shariar Vaghfipour Says:
August 11th, 2010 at 5:52 pm eI mean, you were right; i am that person who has translated that Calvino’s book in persian.
  17. violet Says:
August 12th, 2010 at 6:20 am eI was saying so, because you and the person that has translated that Calvino’s book in persian have the same name
  18. Shariar Vaghfipour Says:
August 12th, 2010 at 2:43 pm eIn the Philip K. Dick’s novel, “a scanner darkly”, we see a whole progect have staked on chance, on a non-sensical act of psychotic addict which may culminate in knowledge. I think this novel is an analogy of psychoanalysis that is a horror gambling or Rusian roullette, such as the drama we see in “Deer Hunter”. We may glance at sinthome or may fall in psychosis. In Iran, everybody who wants to think is a “scanner darkly”. (S)he must cunsume her/his body as well as her/his psychic unity, becoz pollitically we are faced with slavish masters such as persident AhmadiNejad and so on. enyway… I wrote these things for I thought this political scene worth to be contemplate analytically, against the baclground of universal populist politics of psodo-left leaders such as Chaves and the likes. In this situation, we are to be psychotic publicly.
  19. Shariar Vaghfipour Says:
August 13th, 2010 at 12:56 pm eand “what is a translatore too?” This means I am a novelist, literary theorist, journalist, artistic theorist, essayist and a painter. I am a 33-year-old male and have had 20 published books, at least 100 published essays, 10 public seminars about sometings such as “heroin Aesthetics”, “Why I am a pornography fan” and so on, some abstract-expressionist paintings and so more ones banned books. This means I am a cultural symptom for Iran government. I am narcotict addict too, Nevertheless, I have not been allowed to enjoy my own symptomsm becoz I am a decadent intellectual in the eyes of government. So, I can not live by my art and literature exprresions. My live has been monitorred literally. So I do not know “what is a trasnslatore too” means. I do not know what is this speaking-subject what is called “Shahriar Vaghfipour”. what do you think of me and what I must do to be lived, what i must do to not be an “un-dead”. thanks
  20. violet Says:
August 14th, 2010 at 11:47 pm eWhen you say you are “a cultural symptom for the Iran government…” are you saying the Iranian government structures around you? After Lacan this is what the symptom is about. You know, like woman–she is the symptom of man.
What other to think that you are a rather crutial piece in there — in the structure. Can you Act from there?
Certainly not a lack in being… which one in the many “I am” stands as “your own symptom,” which “you have not been allowed to enjoy”?
I like your adjectives in “universal populist politics of psodo-left leaders such as Chaves…” says the NYTimes “Venezuela more deadly than Irak”
  21. violet Says:
September 16th, 2010 at 1:34 pm eShariar Vaghfipour, are you asleep?

  24. violet Says:
