Graciela Hasper was born in Argentina.
In 1997, she was invited by ART OMI and in December she had a solo show in New York City at Annina Nosei Gallery.
In 1999, she had a solo show at Ruth Benzacar Gallery in Buenos Aires.
She was awarded a Fullbright 2000 fellowship and her second show at Annina Nosei Gallery opened September 30, 2000.

About the images:
"painting" The painting is 205 x 65 inches .
Though apparently in Cavaliere perspective, for architectural conventions the drawing is not in scale. The proportion is nevertheless 1:10 to the real scale of the studio space (14,5 m x 6,88 m x 3,5 m), and it is a descriptive model of the installation. The drawing that concerns me is the main room of the Locker Plant. This is the name of the building I'm working in, my studio.Before Judd bought and restored the place it was an actual locker plant-(I'm trying to "unlock" the plant).
The same room is repeated twice:
In "light blue lines" you see the window's force-lines continue and repeat themselves twice over the rest of the walls, reproducing the window openings.
In "green-red-orange-yellow lines" you see the door's force lines continue over the ceiling, repeating the opening of each door on the ceiling.

view 1 and 2: this is the skeleton of the grid emerging from the architectural drawing of the Locker Plant, a preview of the actual installation in space with a perspective from the human view (autocad) The picture will be installed in the painted room.

Painting : el cuadro mide 5.20 x 1.65 mts.
Aparentenmente es usada la perspectiva " cavaliera"- pero para las convenciones arquitectónicas el dibujo no esta en escala. Las proporciones sin embargo son 1:100 en escala real del espacio del estudio(14,5 mts x 6.88 mts x3.50 mts. ) y es un esquema descriptivo de la instalación.
El dibujo que me ocupa es la sala principal del "Locker Plant". Este es el nombre del edificio donde estoy trabajando, mi estudio. Antes que Judd comprase y restaurase el lugar era actualmente una planta cerrada-frigorifica-( trato de "abrir"la planta).
La misma habitacion esta repetida dos veces:
En "las lineas azules" se ven las lineas de fuerza de las aberturas de las ventanas seguidas y repetidas dos veces en el resto de las paredes.
En "las lineas verde-rojo-naranja-amarillo", se ven las lineas de fuerza de las aberturas de las puertas, continuadas en el techo y repetidas también.

view 1 y 2: este es el esqueleto de la cuadricula que emerge del dibujo arquitectonico del Locker Plant, la vista previa de la instalacion actual en el espacio con perspectiva de una mirada humana (autocad).

El cuadro sera instalado dentro de el cuarto pintado.
