Elizabeth Jaeger
JOSEFINA AYERZA
Elizabeth Jaeger devotes her art to Woman – be it woman’s body that she carves in marble, white, their hair is for real, their breasts, stunning, the expression in the eyes seductive to a point that those dolls seem to address you, and to address each other. The exchange creates a scenario, let the action take place.
Essentially ludicrous, Jaeger’s dolls lie on golden mattresses, sit on golden couches… the color gold says of them, about them and their way of life.
Action, always present, is there to have you playing in your mind, all the time… Now they make love, the aftermath clear in their prettiness… now the man dressed up is flat against the floor, she crawls on him, now he bends over and she bends over…

Jaeger’s dolls story will continue in the printed edition…
